Zygarde are fascinatingly intelligent creatures. A core assembles a series of cells to mimic their environment, a legion of an organism...

But what happens when there is no core?

Perhaps it left, to find cells anew. Maybe it died, leaving an empty shell. But in those cases, the cells, they...

...Well, they don't 'remember'. That would imply some kind of mind, something to remember. The cells become a shadow, an outline of the form they once were - like a footprint on the beach. Like a ghost.

Sometimes, they keep their form. And in that form flit errant threads of instinct, breaths of feral want.

So beware of the dark of night where Zygarde have once roamed. Do not fear the sight of the red glow of a core - but the white glare of its absence.

If you don't...

They may find you.

And in these mindless animals, the wisps of instinct that remain will turn their attention on you.

A few weeks ago I got approached by the Cookie Club, a consortium of three artists (parootynsfw, wobblelava, and Azzy the Yeen ) who... well, they draw a lot of cookies on feral Pokémon. They asked me if I'd like to be a part of one of their projects - and... look, c'mon, you know me, right?

Anyway - we came up with a dominant Zygarde, which as a lithe, dangerous dog absolutely fits the description of a creature that I really need to draw more of :3

I had fun with the perspective here, and the depth of field. Cookies are fun too - and I've been enjoying drawing those lovely mounds along the belly that dogs have too <3
